Now, MyNBA in all of its glory is a small tease as there are too many of their finest new features that aren't functioning as planned. While I have said I'm certain the problems would be solved, it would most likely be a good idea for 2K to place something on societal websites that acknowledges the issues. As of this moment, almost every MyNBA fan is in the dark. They are simply becoming more frustrated as the jobs and fun they were expecting to have is simply out of the grasp.

Among my favourite things to do whenever new consoles come out is see how sports games run on them. It is not that I always expect them to be all that different on more powerful hardware -- quite the contrary, actually. Since sports games have a tendency to depict enclosed, fixed environments and need to get a perfectly smooth functioning every year, they're normally stable and dependable whatever system you perform these on.

Next-gen sports matches get subtle, solid improvements

But that means when it comes to the PS5 along with the Xbox Series X, 2K, and EA have had to find out new ways to produce the next-gen models stick out. I have been playing the 2021 versions of all three games around the PS5, and they have all taken different approaches to take advantage of the newest hardware.

First and foremost is the way you actually get a hold of your own copy. EA is offering free PS5 and Xbox Series S / X updates to anybody who bought the PS4 or even Xbox One variations of FIFA 21 or even Madden 21, but it is not automatic. You need to visit the console's respective store to receive your next-gen version. 2K, meanwhile, has chosen to make NBA 2K21 an entirely separate product for next-gen consoles, which means that you'll have to purchase it no matter whether you own it on different platforms. The next-gen version of NBA 2K21 includes an entirely new UI for the show and much quicker loading times. It seems a lot cuter and flashier than the functional but sometimes clunky menus that the game had made use of in recent decades.
