As the manager of a small UK-based charity, my responsibilities include overseeing both financial and project-related matters, as well as directing a committed group of volunteers whose enthusiasm and hard work are the foundation of our organisation. Improving my method for managing volunteers over the years has taught me that good plans do more than fill slots; they bring people together around a common goal.
