I have learned that there is a great need for compassion, companionship, advocacy and support in end-of-life care. I work as an extension of the primary care providers to help with any shortcomings that may be present in a loved one's care.
The dying process can be primarily medical, preparing for life but not for death. But it is not only medicine that is needed in one's declining years but life, a life with meaning, a life as rich and full as possible under the circumstances. A human experience I would be honored to be a part of.
The services I provide are companion and comfort care; advance care planning; respite for caregivers; sitting vigil; advocacy (MAID/Psilocybin therapy) and grief work.
Please visit my website at www.assistedsouls.ca for more information. I am here to help ease some of the challenges that may be faced. An initial complimentary consultation (either by phone or via an online zoom session) will allow me to identify your needs and my role in providing the care, support and assistance that is right for you.
