RoHS Compliance Testing has become a customary procedure for most manufacturers, sellers, distributors, recyclers of electrical and electronic components or equipment sold or used in the European Union. The requirement for RoHs testing is an effect of the Restriction of the Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS Directive), which came into existence on 1st July 2006. The RoHS Compliant was drawn up in the European Union to Safeguard human health and the environment from lethal substances, by curbing the usage of six dangerous chemicals in electrical and electronic products.
