Horny Goat Weed Extract: Beneficial for Natural Health
Horny goat weed extract, also named epicedium sagittatum extract, is extracted from stem and leaves of horny heat weed, also named epicedium. Icariin is yellow brown powder, soluble in ethanol, ethyl acetate. Icariin insoluble in water, and insoluble in ether, benzene, chloroform. Reaction with ferric chloride green, hydrochloric magnesium powder, epicedium extract icariin action was orange and red.
