NTA because there was an agreement before. For everyone saying"it is only a game", I wonder if you let your children destroy other people's toys, after all, they're just playing them.NTA. There was a post on here a while back in an AH father who fully destroyed his sons Minecraft since the kid would not do something or other and I believe it is a similar principle . Yes, it may be"only a game" but it's still a boundary that was established and subsequently invisibly. I'd rather the parent nip it in the bud now than have the kid grow into an internet menace who destroys games for many others. It is about honor and it is not like off a week the Switch will hurt anybody.

If it is a fully shared console and sport then I think it is nice, albeit a little OTT, to take it away.

If the console has been given for her and she has the expectation that she has primary possession, and she's sharing it with you so that you can play with Animal Crossing, then I would consider this punishment foolish.

There's 1 island that they share, and one day the girl was playing about the change and ruined the island that is shared, for the three of these. There are no means to have an island for each Individual player regrettably

I get that there is just 1 island per console. But I am referring to the quotation at the OP:"I took her Shift" This suggests that the singular console in this story belongs to the daughter rather than the OP.This is important info. If its her switch and game then this was too much.I'm confused with this as well since OP wrote'her switch.' So is it your daughter's switch and your game? The OP is probably the Resident Representative aka they have the maximum control over the island.

In addition, I play with Animal Crossing so that I know the 1 island each console rule along with also the Resident Representatove concept. I am referring to how the OP says"I took her Shift," which implies that the one Switch involved here belongs to the daughter.YTA. I mean. . .this is a kid who chopped down some trees on a bogus island that may easily be replanted. If you wanted an ideal island, why are you sharing using a 9 year old?
